KEWFORD EAGLES FC held their annual Presentation Day at Brierley Hill Civic Centre on Sunday June 15.

The club, which was established in 1978, have around 550 youngsters playing for them in various teams, including those with disabilities.

All players who turned out for Kewford during the 2013-14 season received a trophy, and there were special Five Year and Nine Year certificates handed out too. And for the first time ever, two players received Twelve Years' Service awards. Ben Boleyn and Harry Bennett joined the Feeder Group in 2002 and have just completed their 12th season with Kewford Eagles in the Under 18 squad.

Charity Trustee Lynn Boleyn said, "It is sad that the Under 18 team will now fold as many of the players will be going off to University later this year, although five players will be joining our Seniors team. Ben and Harry have both shown tremendous commitment to Kewford and no doubt in the years to come they will be able to meet up with their old team mates when we have our new clubhouse at Eagle Park."

Kewford's new home ground, Eagle Park at Wall Heath, was officially opened on the 26 April by Sir Trevor Brooking CBE.
