The 8hp Morris car was launched in late 1934 and followed in the treads of the Morris Minor. It went on the market in 1935, the cheapest retailing for £118, and both the saloon and tourer were fitted with a smart chromium-plated radiator surround and spoked wheels.

This coming Monday, June 9, the Cradley 'Then and Now' history group welcome David Scott and Michael Pearson to bring visitors up close and personal to a story of one of the famous Morris 8's from 1934, its acquisition, disappearance and eventual re-discovery; definitely an intriguing tale. The meeting starts at 7.30pm at the Park Lane Hall in Netherend and all are welcome.
