VISITORS to the Severn Valley Railway will be used to seeing its main attractions running on rails, but an array of four-wheeled transport will be the star of the show at its Classic Vehicle Day this Sunday (July 27).
Alongside the famous attraction's stunning collection of resident locomotives, which will be in full steam to take passengers along the line, the railway will welcome an eclectic variety of classic vehicles of all ages, shapes and sizes.
Kidderminster station will be home to a collection of pre-war vehicles, which will be showcased under the concourse canopy, and The Engine House visitor centre will host a collection of mainly Tatra and Rootes Group classics.
Visitors can also admire the wide variety of vehicles on display at all six of the stations along the line; including Alvis and Vauxhall at Kidderminster, Triumph and Morris at Bewdley, Morgan and Austin at Arley, Ford and Hillman at Highley, Morris and Mini at Hampton Loade, and Riley, Sunbeam and MG at Bridgnorth.
