Anyone recognise this Cape Hill fire crew?

THERE was an article in The Bugle (November 11, 2012) about my family's Leyland Cub Fire Engine and my wedding.

Recently we received a copy of a sadly rather battered photo of our fire engine turning out to a fire from Cape Hill Brewery's Fire Station in the war.

It must have been war time because of the white lines painted around the wings of the fire engine.

I wonder if any of your readers might recognise any of the crew, or perhaps someone has a better copy of the picture – or indeed any pictures.

We're researching "Belinda" the Leyland Cub's history, and we'd be very pleased to hear from anyone which may have a photo.

The Leyland attended her first steam rally for 40 years in July this year, and my father is going to the Woodcote Steam Rally Prize Giving event to collect the Cup which she won!

Thank you

Heather Wannell,

(PS I am still practising as a solicitor in my maiden name – I haven't fallen out with my husband!)
