I WONDER if any Bugle readers remember a remarkable lady called Prunella Stack.
She headed a nationwide organisation called The Women's League of Health & Beauty.
There were health clubs all over the country.
Members met weekly for keep fit exercises - choreographed to music.
We wore white satin sleeveless blouses and black 'short' shorts.
There were hundreds of thousands of us. We gave keep fit displays during the summer in football stadiums.
I remember going to one at Wembley Stadium, also one at the Wolves Molineux Ground.
Prunella's mother had founded the movement, her belief was "Movement to Life." This became our slogan. Prunella, who had remained physically and mentally fit for years, died in 2011 at the age of 96.
