I WAS recently given a Black Country Bugle from March 2013 which included an article on the Kinema, Kinver, and just had to share my memories of it with your readers.
My dad, Tom Willetts, was invited to go and try out the new equipment before the grand opening and showing of The Student Prince.
I remember one Sunday morning he took me with him and I sat in the theatre and settled down to my own private viewing of the film.
Although they went back to the beginning a few times, eventually I saw the film all way through.
The owners did offer my dad a job working there.
But he had to turn it down as we lived in Dudley and he could not drive at the time.
It's a memory that will stay with me for ever and it was lovely reading the article, even though it was nearly 12 months old.
