I AM trying to track down a couple we met on holiday in June 1957 at Mr and Mrs Tremain's guest house in Newquay.

I have forgotten their surname but their Christian names were Alec and Eva and they lived in Willenhall.

Alec was a barber and he and his wife sent us three blue baby budgerigars in all, one each time the previous one died.

We had been married only nine months when we met them but we corresponded for many years afterwards.

I had a prolonged illness in the late 1970's and I lost touch with them.

I often wonder what happened to them and I wonder if any Bugle reader could help me.

I would love to correspond with them again if possible.

Mrs Pamela Bartlett,

20 Industrial Street,

Horbury,

Wakefield, WF4 5EG.
