THE letter published in The Bugle (January 23 edition) relating to the reunion of former residents of Jarvis Crescent, Langley, brought back many happy memories.

When newly married in 1950 our first home was in Jarvis Crescent.

My daughter was born there.

As a baby she was pushed in her pram around the Crescent by Ann (Collins) and Sandra (Perry), many a day.

Our neighbours were Mr and Mrs Hamilton and their daughter Margaret, and Mr and Mrs O'Neil and their children Jim, Ann and Gordon.

It was a very friendly place to live, the children could play in the Crescent without harm.

We had a lifelong friendship with Albert and May Perry, the parents of Eric and Sandra.

Thank you for bringing back memories of 60 years ago.

Vera Harris,

6 Greencroft,

Kingswinford.
