AS you were so good as to publish a few weeks ago my letter and photo relating to the 175th anniversary of the building of St. Paul's Church (now known as St. Martin's and St. Paul's Church), Owen Street, Tipton, I would now like to draw Bugle readers' attention to the fact that three choirs have been booked to appear there.

The first of these takes place tonight (Thursday, April 10) when the Tipton and Dudley Augmented Choir (based at Tipton Green Methodist) presents"Jerusalem Joy, a cantata written by local composer Roger Jones to accompany the Bible narrative of Holy Week, within the context of a short service, starting at St Paul's at 7.30pm and followed by light refreshments.

Then on Friday, May 9 we shall welcome Tipton Community Choir, with support, for a concert of varied music, again starting at 7.30 and again followed by refreshments; tickets are priced at £3 – contact 07708 568144 for further details.

Finally, the church's Wednesday Fellowship is holding a Fellowship Rally on Wednesday, May 14 at 2pm and Singing For Pleasure, a choir based at Wall Heath, will, as last year, be accompanying the hymns and providing other musical items.

Peter Bradley,

19 Wren Street,

Woodsetton, Dudley.
