WITH reference to the article entitled Stroll down Memory Lane which was in The Bugle (March 20 edition) showing the photographs of Wolverhampton.

The "Lindy Lou" in Victoria Street used to be the Copper Kettle where the Wolves players would go after training for a cup of coffee and cake. It then became a pram shop and after that they sold children's clothes and sundries. My wife worked there for some time in the early days in the 1950s just after we were married in 1948.

Herefordshire,

(late of Coseley).
