THIS Sunday a pupil from St Michael's CE High School in Rowley Regis will be having a VIP day at Twickenham.

Adam O'Brien of Year 10 is joining England Rugby's official anthem singer, soprano Laura Wright, on the pitch to sing the National Anthem as they reveal their school's uniquely designed rugby shirt, ahead of the RBS 6 Nations match between England and Wales.

A total of 100 pupils will be representing their schools, each wearing a shirt created at a Canterbury Kit Design workshop as part of All Schools, England Rugby's programme to help more secondary state schools play rugby.

Canterbury, the official kit supplier to England Rugby, held workshops where they invited schools to design a rugby shirt for their team. Adam will be wearing the rugby shirt designed by his school on the Twickenham pitch.
