CRADLEY Forge Methodist Chapel is going to close this Easter. Following the story in The Bugle (April 10 edition) I would like to express my thanks to everyone who played a part in the running of the Sunday School Club.

At the final Sunday School Anniversary recently the children were wonderful – singing, reading poems, playing instruments, signing and actually sitting still (well, most of the time)!

They were all presented with gifts, including a Bible with the dates 1928-2014 inside.

I know my own two girls really enjoyed their time at Sunday School and are very sad that it is finishing. The Sunday School had 12 regular children, ages from 3 – 9. A big thank you to the entertaining speakers – Gwen Hadley and Brenda Guest, and to the 'aunties' who ran the club – Auntie Joyce, Auntie Jean, Auntie Gwenda and Auntie Sally.

Thank you for making the final anniversary day a happy one, even though it was a sad time.

Rozie White,

65 Gorsty Hill, B65 0HA.
