A CHARITY Summer Fete held in Dudley has raised £1,135.78 for a local charity dedicated to empowering people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.
The Charity Summer Fete took place at The Meadlowlark pub, Dudley, on Saturday, July 12.
Activities on the day included a charity football match, darts tournament, kids' activities, BBQ and numerous stalls.
The Fete was in aid of Cerebral Palsy Midlands, a charity which now also runs a community centre that provides much-needed daycare, activities, training, educational courses and an advocacy and advice service.
Gary Watson, Centre Manager of Cerebral Palsy Midlands, said "We are delighted to receive such a fantastic donation to go towards the vital work that we do with people from across the region.
"We are also indebted to Kerry Horton and her family and friends for organising such a successful fundraising fete for us."
