Hateley Heath.
Like the majority of those in recent editions, it has kindly been put our way by local author Terry Price.
The picture shows Hateley Heath FC, at a time when, one would assume, there was a lot less football being played than was normally the case.
The picture is dated 1917-18; the final days of the First World War. We have no information on where the picture was taken, but it was very often the case that local teams used a local pub as their headquarters and changing rooms, before hobbling over to the local park for their fixtures.
