WE are indebted to Mrs June Salt (nee Brookes) of 3 Chapel Street, Pelsall, Walsall, for sending in this reminder of the school netball team in which she played, over fifty years ago.
As she explains, there are several names that she can no longer rember, so if any other pupils from that era can supply these, she would be grateful.

“I thought some of your readers may recognise themselves on this photograph of the Wednesbury Commercial Secondary School Netball Team in the 1950s.
I am on the extreme right bottom row, and next to me is Delphine Yeomans who sadly passed away, then June Caddy, Doris Green, then unknown.
“Back row, from the left, is Mrs. Weston, Celia Worthington, (captain), unknown, unknown, unknown and Mrs. Williams.
“Can anyone remind me of the names of the girls I've unfortunately forgotton? I was June Brookes and very happy times they were too”.
