JUDGING by the two photographs reproduced here, plus another of a football published a few weeks ago, the lads who attended Halesowen Technical School around fifty years ago were certainly a sports-minded lot.
Both of these photographs come from one-time pupil Roy Clewes, who can be contacted on 07710 360402, if any old school pals recognise themselves and would like to chat over old times.
The athletic team is from 1960/61, and Roy has named one or two as follows...

Meanwhile, the rugby team picture was taken a year later, in season 1961-62, as clearly shown on the ball being held by the lad at the centre.
Roy again appears in this photograph.
