I AM researching my family tree and would like to find out more about the Ford family who lived in Netherton, Dudley.

My great grandfather, William Jehu Ford, born in 1881, was a chain tester at Lloyds Proving House.

He lived in Cradley Road, and later on in Gammage Street.

One of his daughters, Edna, who is my grandmother, also lived in Gammage Street with her husband Frank Tummey.

Living with the Ford family for most of his life was Edward Gosborne. We were wondering whether the Fords adopted him. He worked as a coach painter.

If anyone has information concerning the Ford family and Edward Gosborne I would be very grateful.

Matthew Ruston.
