I FOUND the recent articles in the Black Country Bugle about the Park School, Dudley, very interesting.
Although it was before my time there I did recall some of the names of members of staff.
I remembered Miss Napier's name and the girls' choir because my sister was in that choir.
I started there in 1958 and Miss Foster was the headmistress, a tiny lady who wore lovely clothes and very high heels.
I also remember Mr Nash and I think he was a member of Dudley Little Theatre.
Then after him came Mr Groves.
I remembered Anne Haycock, but only because her sister was in the same year as myself. It was quite a topic of conversation back then that this person had a Swedish boyfriend.
Lastly, Alan Griffin, named in both photographs, is my cousin, so I hope to pass both articles on to him.
