Black Country civil engineer who helped South Africa

I HAVE just published a book about a Black Countryman civil engineer who was very active in South Africa between 1873 and 1905.

I have a UK distributor for the book entitled, Bridging the Eastern Cape; The Life and Work of Joseph Newey.

However, the marketing of the book is my responsibility.

I have had a website set up, which may be accessed through the following link: http://www.easterncapebridges.co.za

It will tell your readers all about Jos Newey of Fleet & Newey of West Bromwich.

I intend to come over to the UK this August to visit my son who is the cricket club pro near Tamworth.

I have a Powerpoint presentation of up to an hour about this remarkable man.

I am wondering whether any Black Country Bugle readers can help me by setting up a meeting or two with one of the local historical societies.

Alternatively, if they are able to provide me with email addresses of societies who may be interested that would be great.

Regards and best wishes.
