TETTENHALL and District Horticultural Society will be celebrating their centenary in 2015. To celebrate this event, the society are researching their history with a view to putting together a publication and we are appealing to Bugle readers for memories or photographs.

Our society was formed in the Great War during a national drive to grow more food. The society's aims were (and still are) to provide low cost gardening supplies and educational talks to our members. The society ran its own coal club in the 1930s. We exhibited at Wolverhampton Floral Fete, Tettenhall Fete and Birmingham Floral Fete. We have records going back to 1919, but there are many gaps to fill. Many thanks.
