Players appeal for 1960s fridge and cooker

THE Lichfield Players are very keen to hear from any Bugle readers who can help out with authentic props for our forthcoming production of Neil Simon's Barefoot in the Park.

The hit comedy opens at the Lichfield Garrick this month, and the society is particularly interested in sourcing a fridge and a cooker from the 1960s to use on the set.

The play is set in 1960s New York and centres around newly-weds Paul and Corrie who, fresh back from honeymoon, are settling into their new high-rise apartment and don't seem to be able to see eye-to-eye – about anything!

The cast is brilliant, we're finalising costumes and have a 60s soundtrack, so having the perfect set would be the icing on the cake.

The Lichfield Players will be bringing their version to the city's theatre from July 15-19.

Anyone able to help should contact Gina Martin on 01543 319019.
