WE normally more associate Walsall with saddlery, but it seems that Wolverhampton also had a say in this old trade.

This smashing, if well-worn image shows the amazing display of equine saddles, harnesses and collars, hanging up outside the premises of James Rudler, in Bilston Street, Wolverhampton, around a century ago. This image is printed on a promotional card, with more imformation about the business given on the reverse.
