We thank former Cradley wench Lin Lamberg, now living near Stafford, for emailing this to us. In the background is the familiar chairlift, which has been refurbished recently.
Lin wites, “I found this picture whilst searching for something else. It was taken about 1962, and shows a group of girls from Hawne County Primary at Halesowen.
“From left to right:- Vivian Jones, Deborah Leedham, Janice Jones, Susan Williams, Susan Hall, Julie Baker, Jennifer Price, Jacqueline Atkins, and Janet Rudge.
“Hope they are all well wherever they are now?”
