DOROTHY Dudley (nee Maydew), of 4 Birch Close, Walton on the Hill, Stafford, ST17 0LZ, hopes that the two snaps from an old photograph album, below, will help her to make contact with an old friend from sixty years ago.
Her friend’s name was Jean Davies back then, in 1953/53, and she and Dorothy worked together in the General Office of Jospeh Sankey’s and Sons, Bilston.
One picture shows Dorothy and Jean on a bench at Dudley Zoo, with the familiar ruins of the castle in the background.
The other picture shows Jean in her father’s garden.
Writes Dorothy, “ I wonder if anyone out there recognises Jean? If possible I would love to hear from her, I’m sure there would be loads to catch up on”.
