A MYSTERY photograph brought into a Sedgley coffee morning has become a big talking point in the village.

Parishioner Judy Clements took the attached shot into one of the regular Friday coffee mornings at All Saints' Church.

Could this be a Sedgley VE Day Street Party in May 1945?

The style of dress potentially puts it into that time frame. There's a Union Jack in the picture, some children are in fancy dress and it looks like a street party with trestle tables to celebrate a national occasion – although it could possibly be the Queen's Coronation in 1953.

Can any Bugle readers say what the event was, the location and name anyone in the photograph? Many thanks.
