THE 2014 Claverley Flower Festival was once again well attended and blessed with decent weather across each of the four days of the event at All Saints' Church.

"The Silver Screen" was the theme for this year's 38th annual show and for the many hundreds of visitors who attended, the floral displays were seen as varied in their colour, composition and artistic design, from Jurassic Park, one of the best porch displays in a long time, to Singing in the Rain, The Railway Children and Casablanca.

This year one in particular caught the lens of the Bugle cameraman that would have been especially enjoyed by those children who accompanied their moms, dads and grandparents. It was "Finding Nemo" by Grace Roberts, a composition of colour and movement that made the viewer feel they could easily have been at the bottom of the sea.
