SEDGLEY White Lions Under 11s have eclipsed their excellent performance in the Bilston League last season by winning four trophies and remaining unbeaten throughout the season in all competitions.

Back in December the Lions won the Bilston Autumn League East Division title by a 4 point margin and on May 4 they added the Bilston Spring League Premier Division title to their trophy haul, recording eight consecutive victories to win the title by a clear 8 point margin.

The day after they retained their Bilston Spring Premier League title they contested the Bilston Charity Cup Final against New Park Village and Bilston Town FC's Queen Street stadium.

The Charity Cup final, watched by a large crowd, was a nailbiting affair that after extra time was decided by a penalty shoot out. Sedgley won the shoot out 5 – 4 with the heroes goal keeper Joshua Lee, who made a stunning penalty, and team captain Kieran Gelder who scored the winning penalty.

On May 11 Sedgley took on Springvale Steelers Pumas in the prestigious Adrian Anslow Interdivisional Cup Final, which was also staged at Bilston Town FC's Queen Street stadium with the Lions running out 4 – 0 victors with Jack Mills 2, Harry Smith and Daniel Hickman netting for Sedgley.

In all competitions Sedgley's playing record this season is played 29 matches, won 27, drawn 2 and they have scored a remarkable 170 goals in the process whilst conceding only 25.

Predatory striker Jack Mills leads the way in the Sedgley goal scoring statistics having hit the net a remarkable 53 times in 29 games at a rate of almost 2 goals per game, Jack is also the Bilston League Under 11's leading goal scorer. Team Manager and Sedgley White Lions Chairman Kevin Lockley is delighted with his team's performance:

"The lads' unbeaten run just went on and on and the lads were determined they wouldn't be beaten despite the pressure mounting with every victory.

"It's been an amazing season and will be extremely challenging to match or beat this performance next season."
