Murder hunt after woman found dead
A murder inquiry has been launched after the body of a young woman was discovered by police at a London home.
Officers found the woman, believed to be in her 20s, at a maisonette in Streatham after a member of the public raised concerns that she had not been seen "for some time", Scotland Yard said.
A post-mortem examination at Greenwich mortuary will be scheduled in due course.
Detectives have asked anyone with information to call them at the incident room on 020 8345 3982; or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
