TIPTON Library's popular annual local history day takes place on Saturday, September 27 from 10.30-1pm and the theme this year is Tipton celebrates!

There will be the opportunity to look at photos and footage from the Jubilee Arts Photographic Archive showing some unseen photographs taken in the 1970s and 1980s.

Mystery lovers are in for a treat on Thursday, October 2 at 10.30am when the library will host a special screening of Some day I'll find you, a film recently made by Barney Snow which looks at the story of the Mario Lanza Ghostwriter, who has been leaving beer mats with the singer's face on all across the Black Country for more than 40 years. Free admission by advance ticket only.

Robert Hazel, Community Library Manager.
