OLIVE BEDWORTH of West Bromwich would like to appeal for information regarding a gravestone in her home town.

It still stands, in the graveyard of All Saints Church, and its inscription tells the following story:

Erected by the Workpeople of Messrs George Salter & Co.

To the Memory of Thomas Evans, born April 21st 1864 and Elizabeth Emson, Born December 1872

Who were Drowned while Boating at Matlock Bath on July 13th 1892
