RAY STOKES has been in touch via email and forwarded to us these two photographs from his school days at Dudley Grammar. Ray tells us:
"In the 1950s there were three football teams which represented the Grammar School.
"1. The Junior Team. To qualify you had to be under 15 at the start of the school year.
"2. The Second XI, which was made up of mostly 5th and 6th formers.
"3. The First XI, which was mostly 6th formers up to the age of 19, with one or two 5th formers.
"In some years there was an Under 13 XI too."
The first photograph shows the Junior XI of 1951-1952.
