WE held a Great Brew Break as a fundraiser at our Royal Voluntary Service (formerly WRVS) lunch club for older people in Lye recently. We sold cakes, pies, traditional Black Country faggots an d peas and beverages before the older people had their lunch at 12:30.

From 11am -12.30 we managed to raise £177.45 for our charity through cake sales.

Local MP Ian Austin came along to offer his support and to help us to raise awareness of our Good Neighbours Service which covers the whole of the Dudley borough. Also we are looking to recruit more volunteers which are always desperately needed to support vulnerable and lonely older people.

Very best wishes.

Kirsty Wilson McGarvey,

Service Manager,

Royal Voluntary Service,

Good Neighbours, Dudley Borough.
