The Wednesday Singers offer an evening of sacred music at St Gabriel’s Church, Fullbrook, on Saturday, September 28 starting at 7.30pm.
The concert marks the Patronal Festival of St Gabriel’s and the opening of the Wednesday Singers’ 10th Anniversary Season.
The centre piece of the evening is a performance of The Armed Man written at the turn of the Millenium by internationally acclaimed composer Karl Jenkins.
The second half of the evening includes well known works by John Rutter, Faure and Mozart.
The Wednesday Singers are accompanied by organ, keyboard, trumpet and cello under the baton of Musical Director Deryck Lanford.
