Free historical talks at the Tipton library

BUGLE readers may be interested in the next series of local history talks at Tipton Library.

All talks are free admission by advance ticket only and tickets can be reserved by calling the library on 0121 557 1796 or emailing tipton_lib rary@sandwell.gov.uk

Thursday, January 16: Tracing your Black Country Ancestors with Mick Pearson, 10.30am—12.30. The Chairman of the Black Country Society gives tips on tracing your Black Country ancestors.

Thursday, February 20: In search of Horseley bridges, Keith Hodgkins, 10.30am-12noon. Join historian Keith Hodgkins as he tells of the various bridges made by Horseley Iron Works.

Thursday, March 20: Letters from the Front, Chris Smith, 10.30am-12.30. Speaker Chris Smith talks on letters sent back from World War One.
