THROUGHOUT 2014 we at Dudley Canal Trust will be celebrating the 50 years of work done by the trust in restoring Dudley Tunnel, the Limestone Mines and Parkhead Locks, from 1964 to 2014. To start off the celebrations, three founder members, Vic Smallshire, Derek Gittings and Richard Jones, will give a talk and slide show on the early years of the Trust and highlights up to present day, on Wednesday, January 15, at Blowersgreen Pumphouse, Peartree Lane, Dudley, DY2 0XP, at 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm). Admission is free, with refreshments served in the interval. We are looking to invite anybody who was involved in the restoration to enjoy a night of entertainment and memories.

Steve Bingham, Dudley Canal Trust.
