The Bugle would like to express its sad regret at the passing of former Wolves winger Dave Wagstaffe, who has died, age 70, following a short illness.
"Waggy" joined Wolves from Manchester City in 1964 and made over 400 senior appearances, scoring 32 goals for the club, before joining Blackburn Rovers in 1976.
He was part of the Wolves teams that finished runners-up to Spurs in the 1972 UEFA Cup and won the 1974 League Cup.
Later, Dave returned to Wolverhampton to run "Waggy's Bar" and then as steward of the Old Wulfrunians Club in Castlecroft.
Please post your comments and tributes to the Wolves legend.
