YOU asked for memories of family celebrations.

We recently celebrated our  diamond wedding, left, with our family at the Himley Country Hotel.

We married on October 3, 1953, at Christ Church, Coseley.

We left the church through an arch of cycle wheels held by members of Sedgley Cycling Club and Dudley Castle Cycling Club.

Holding the wheels are, left to right, Joe Duffy, Ken Knock, Mick Waterfield, Jack Smith, Norman Blackford, Barry Caddick.

Others in the picture are sister Maureen, (bridesmaid), brother Walter (best man), partly obscured, brother-in-law Frank Mathews and father-in-law Joe Green.

I was well known in cycling circles, and for my cycle business in Wolverhampton, now run by our two sons Steve and Mike.

Fred and Iris Williams.
