IN reply to Robert Fessey's letter in The Bugle (March 27 edition) regarding the mystery of Cliff Richard's Jensen car being parked near Holy Trinity church in West Bromwich.

It was on February 16, 1969, that Cliff, accompanied by David Winter editor of Christian Magazine Crusade and Cynthia Kent who was vocalist with the folk group the Settlers, attended Holy Trinity Church. It was a crusade for young people's mission of which 42 people came forward. The crowd around the church stood waiting in freezing temperatures to catch a glimpse of Cliff.

The photos, kindly supplied by Colin Lucock, show Cliff with David, Cynthia and the Rev.Holbrooke Jones who passed away recently.

Cynthia is now a vicar with her own parish.

Bill Page,

West Bromwich.

Wow this picture brought back great memories of singing at church gigs with Cliff! Anyone else got any similar memories? Anyone reading this who went to the same schools as me Or lived in or near Fisher Road Oldbury? I'd love to make contact. Do get in touch. Revd Cindy, St John the Apostle Church, London. N20 0PG
