JACQUELINE Mills wrote a poem entitled The Lost City which was a nostalgic ode to her childhood home of Tipton where she lived from 1953-1970.

She herself became a nurse and I thought Bugle readers would be interested in a photograph of her third year class at Ocker Hill Junior around 1963. Jacqueline Mills (nee Jukes) is far right on second row. To her left is Linda George (nee Cresswell), next to Linda is Carolyne Mills (nee Grice). In the centre middle is Jeanette Hallard.

If anyone recognise themselves, Jacqueline would love to hear from them. Jacqueline and I have written and recorded a CD including four songs with a Black Country theme. If anyone is interested in us performing at functions or buying the CD please email me.

Terence Mills,

9 Miles Meadow Close, Willenhall.
