CUSTOMERS are reminded that revised opening hours for the city's libraries began this week.

Bilston, Warstones and Wednesfield libraries will be staffed for 35 hours per week, Finchfield and Tettenhall libraries for 30 hours per week and Ashmore Park, Pendeford and Penn libraries for 24 hours per week. Long Knowle, East Park, Low Hill, Spring Vale and Whitmore Reans libraries will be staffed for 15 hours per week.

Blakenhall Library will become self-service and open at the same times the centre itself. Collingwood Library at Broadway Gardens continues to operate for 15 hours per week. The main Central Library in Wolverhampton will continue to open 56 hours per week.

The changes have been brought about as Wolverhampton City Council attempts to save £123m over the next five years.
