THE Black Country Bugle has been nominated for an award in the prestigious Midlands Media Awards.
From a record entry of more than 320 from newspapers and media groups from Shropshire to Lincolnshire The Bugle was nominated in the Headline of the Year category.
The one chosen was by editor John Butterworth entitled Has Dudley Council lost the plot? This was the story about the missing graveyard in which the council said they owned the site in King Street and then a week later decided it was not their plot.
Our paper is one of five finalists in that category and the winner will be announced at a ceremony at Villa Park, Birmingham, on Thursday, June 5.
