Bugle ancestry prize helped my research

THANK you for the cheque for a subscription to Ancestry as a prize in the Bugle competition.

I have already managed to find new records to add more details to my family tree. My great uncle George Gobourn and his cousin Sidney Gobourn both worked on the railways in Wolverhampton.

Sidney worked for the Great Western Railway and joined in 1911 as an engine cleaner. He earned 1s 9d. This wage had increased to 3s three years later when he transferred to Chester as a fireman.

It is lovely to be able to add details to an ancestor's life and I am sure the subscription will help me add more. Thank you again.

Beverley Reynolds.
