THIS photographs of a very successful Black Country side of the past again comes from the ever growing collection of Terry Church.
He writes, “In the 1950s and 60s Brierley Hill Alliance were a force to be reckoned with in the Midlands non-league soccer scene. Based in Cottage Street, the first team competed in the Birmingham League, with a reserve side in the Worcestershire Combination.
"The photograph was taken in 1957, and is from the collection of the late George Stevens”.
