THE Bugle's new special publication to mark the centenary of the First World War has now been published.
Entitled We Will Remember Them the 96-page full colour book is our tribute to the Black Country heroes on the front line and the Home Front in 1914-18.
Packed with more than 120 stories plus pictures, ballads and letters selected from our files over the last 42 years it charts every aspect of how our area coped in those grim times.
Writers include our columnists Gail Middleton, gardener Howard Drury and Gordon Hensman and retired columnist Dianne Pye. Interspersed with the tragedies are tales of heroics, sacrifice and sometimes the lighter moments of the Great War.
